Infor CloudSuite Business Intelligence FAQ
Is Infor CloudSuite's BI built on Birst, or a separate reporting engine?
Birst (Infor's acquired BI platform) underpins CloudSuite's analytics, delivered through Infor OS. Business intelligence is rated strong, with self-service analytics and financial reporting being the two largest capability areas by count.
Can financial and operational data be combined in one report, or are they separate systems?
They're combined — financial reporting facts (AP, AR, financial income) sit alongside operational analysis (sales, inventory) in the same self-service analytics layer, so a report can pull both without exporting from separate modules.
Does CloudSuite offer AI-assisted or predictive analytics, or only historical reporting?
Advanced analytics capabilities exist alongside standard self-service reporting, and CloudSuite's Coleman AI platform (part of Infor OS) adds predictive and machine-learning features on top — though depth here varies by which CloudSuite edition and add-ons are licensed.
Can reports be distributed automatically, or only pulled on demand?
Distribution & access capabilities exist for scheduling and access control on reports, though this is the smallest sub-area within BI — most of CloudSuite's reporting strength is in self-service analysis and financial reporting rather than automated distribution.
