Overview

Spreadsheet Server is an ERP reporting tool from insightsoftware that connects Microsoft Excel directly to live ERP data, letting finance teams build reports once with standard Excel formulas and have them refresh automatically instead of re-exporting data by hand. It targets financial controllers, FP&A managers and CFOs who need recurring financial reports without depending on IT or database expertise, and the vendor markets it as compatible with 140+ ERP and accounting systems.

Reports are built with financial-data-aware formulas (branded GXL and GXC formulas) that understand GL hierarchies, periods and currencies, and support one-click drilldown from a summary line to the underlying transaction detail.
