Overview

mpmX is a process intelligence (process mining) platform built by MPMX GmbH (formerly Mehrwerk GmbH), a Karlsruhe, Germany-based vendor that grew out of SAP and business-intelligence consulting work in the German mid-market. The company was acquired by European technology investor Fortino Capital in July 2025; the product was previously developed under IT services group Netgo Group. mpmX has been named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Process Mining Platforms for three consecutive years (2023-2025) and in the Forrester Wave for Process Intelligence Software (Q3 2023).

The platform reconstructs digital 'process twins' from ERP and source-system event data, pulling purchase-to-pay, order-to-cash, production, claims and audit processes into associative, object-centric models originally built on Qlik's associative engine and increasingly deployed natively on Snowflake and Databricks. Prebuilt connectors cover SAP, Oracle, SAP Ariba, Coupa, ProAlpha, Microsoft Dynamics and Infor, and mpmX markets dedicated solution templates for working-capital optimization, procurement, insurance claims, and audit/governance/internal-control monitoring. Beyond dashboards, mpmX layers AI agents on top of the process twin that can take corrective action directly, such as placing payment blocks, escalating overdue items, or routing approvals, rather than only surfacing findings for a human to action manually.

mpmX reports serving over 100 enterprise customers, including Commerzbank, E.ON, Siemens Healthineers, Telenet, Infineon and several German public health insurers; a July 2025 acquisition announcement cited 150+ enterprise customers across 10+ countries. It sells a fixed-scope, paid 'Working Capital Trial' pilot with published monthly pricing alongside standard quote-based enterprise licensing.

  • AI agents that execute corrective actions (payment blocks, escalations, approval routing) rather than only surfacing dashboards
