Kolon Benit is the IT services subsidiary of the Kolon Group, a major South Korean industrial conglomerate. Founded in 1990, the company leads digital transformation initiatives across Kolon Group affiliates and external Korean enterprise customers. Kolon Benit operates as an SAP Gold Partner, with capabilities spanning SAP implementation, S/4HANA conversion, application management services and infrastructure delivery. In 2017 the company completed an SAP S/4HANA conversion for the Kolon Group, which it describes as the first such conversion at scale for a large Korean conglomerate. More recently, Kolon Benit migrated SAP ERP environments for more than 30 Kolon Group affiliates to SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition, building a cloud-based next-generation ERP environment for the group. The company also acts as a domestic distributor in Korea for global solution vendors including SAP, Dassault Systèmes, IBM, EMC, Dell, Red Hat, SkySQL and HikVision, combining reseller activity with implementation and managed services. To accelerate ERP transitions, Kolon Benit has partnered with Tricentis on an integrated AI-driven test automation offering called Pre-Package, designed to streamline ERP conversion projects, and with EPI-USE Labs to deliver SAP landscape optimisation services to Korean enterprises. The firm's customer base is concentrated in South Korea across manufacturing, chemicals, fashion and other Kolon Group industries.
