Overview

ReconArt is a cloud-based reconciliation and financial close automation platform, in market since 2011 and headquartered in Arlington, Virginia. It covers bank and cash reconciliation, credit card transaction matching, accounts payable/receivable matching, intercompany reconciliation, and securities, positions and trades reconciliation, alongside a financial close module for balance sheet reconciliation and certification, journal entry approval workflows, and close task tracking.

The matching engine supports configurable one-to-one, one-to-many and many-to-many matching rules with per-account tolerance and threshold logic, and ingests a range of bank and payment file formats (CSV, XLSX, TXT, XML, BAI, ACH, SWIFT MT, camt.053/ISO 20022, and FIRD) as well as custom formats. A newer AI layer lets users describe matching logic in plain English, adds fuzzy and string-similarity matching with confidence-threshold auto-matching, and includes ReconArt IntelliDoc, an OCR tool for extracting data from unstructured PDF documents. The vendor reports processing more than 15 billion transactions annually for clients on six continents.

ReconArt connects to ERPs primarily through a certified NetSuite integration (it is a SuiteCloud Developer Network member), and exposes a public REST API plus a Recon Data Factory bridging layer for other ERPs, data warehouses and banking/payment systems, including named connectivity to Temenos, Mambu and Plaid. It is offered as web-based SaaS or on customer-hosted infrastructure, is ISO/IEC 27001 certified, and is licensed through edition-based plans (Essentials, Plus, Certify, Close, and a separate Enterprise edition) with fixed-scope implementation packages rather than published per-user pricing.
