Overview

AccuFund Accounting Suite is a fund accounting system built specifically for nonprofit organizations and government agencies, scalable from a small core accounting system up to a full multi-module financial suite. It is designed to meet GASB and FASB reporting requirements while keeping the interface close to familiar off-the-shelf accounting software.

The core system covers accounts payable, cash receipts, general ledger with budgeting, bank reconciliation, data import/export, document storage, a financial report writer, forms designer, and system security. Organizations can add modules as needs grow, including accounts receivable with inventory and responsible-party billing, budget development, payroll and labor distribution, employee time entry, grants management, human resources, fixed assets, allocation management, purchasing with inventory, online requisitions, loan management, and custodial checking.

AccuFund is offered both as an on-premise, self-hosted deployment and as AccuFund Anywhere, a browser-based cloud version. The company was founded in 2001 and was acquired by i3 Verticals, a publicly traded company focused on public-sector and government software, in January 2023.

What does AccuFund Accounting Suite cost?

AccuFund Accounting Suite prices by quote, like most of this category. Here is what actually drives your number — and what to ask before you get one.

  • Licence basisask whether you are billed per named user, per active user, or per entity — the same headline rate can differ several-fold between them.
  • Implementationask for the one-off setup, data-migration and configuration fee as a separate line from the subscription.
  • ERP integrationask whether the connector for your ERP is included, a paid add-on, or custom work quoted per interface.
  • Contract term & upliftask for the annual uplift cap in writing; an uncapped renewal is where multi-year savings disappear.
