Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), delivered on the Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), is an AI-powered iPaaS that spans cloud data integration, application/API integration, data quality, master data management, and data governance on a single platform. It is aimed at organizations that need large-scale, governed data movement and integration -- such as feeding data warehouses and lakes -- as well as application and process integration across SaaS and on-premises systems including ERPs.
The platform is built around the CLAIRE AI engine, which applies machine learning and metadata intelligence to automate and recommend integration tasks, accelerate mapping, and improve data quality. IICS offers modular services -- Cloud Data Integration, Cloud Application Integration, API Management, Mass Ingestion, and MDM -- with thousands of pre-built connectors and reusable mappings, plus a Secure Agent runtime that processes data inside a customer's environment for hybrid and on-premises connectivity.
Informatica is a long-established data-management vendor, and the company was acquired by Salesforce, with the transaction completed in November 2025.
