Overview

Jedox is a financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and integrated business planning platform built by Jedox GmbH, a German software company founded in 2002 and headquartered in Freiburg im Breisgau. The platform centers on a native Microsoft Excel add-in with live write-back, paired with a web interface, mobile app, and Word/PowerPoint add-ins, so finance teams can plan, budget and forecast using spreadsheet-like modeling on top of a governed, multidimensional data model.

The platform covers budgeting and forecasting, financial consolidation, management reporting, scenario and integrated business planning, sales performance management, workforce planning, and ESG reporting. Data is brought in through the Jedox Integrator, an ETL layer with prebuilt connectors for ERP, CRM, database and file sources, REST APIs, and scripting for custom transformations. JedoxAI adds AI-assisted forecasting, anomaly detection and, per the vendor public roadmap, a set of natural-language planning and reporting agents built on dedicated, customer-isolated Microsoft Azure OpenAI models.

Jedox reports more than 2,900 customer organizations across roughly 140 countries, and was named a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Financial Planning Software. Insight Partners acquired a majority stake in Jedox in 2021 as part of a $100M+ growth investment; the company also lists Iris Capital, Wecken and Cie., and eCapital Entrepreneurial Partners AG among its investors.
