Manual quoting and estimating process (existing NetSuite user)Oracle NetSuite CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote)

one to 12

components per standard assembly

Challenge: ProVeyance's Woodsage subsidiary quoted highly customized conveyor rollers and fabricated products manually, taking anywhere from one hour to days per project. Costing and pricing logic sat with individual sales reps and engineers, and one standard assembly can contain one to 12 component items each with its own manufacturing processes.

Solution: Bryant Park Consulting implemented NetSuite CPQ using 100% out-of-the-box functionality with light scripting for calculations, plus multiple training sessions so the manufacturer could run the configurator itself. The configurator pulls component cost, labour cost, sales price, compatibility, run rate and setup time, and supports both standalone what-if configuration and transactional quoting with dynamic bills of material.

Results: Quote and estimate generation moved from hours to minutes, and basic quotes can be completed and sent in a day or less because sales reps no longer route them back to engineering. Quoting data that previously sat across spreadsheets and individual machines is now held in NetSuite alongside item records, manufacturing cost templates and work centres.

Overall, CPQ has been a big help for our quoting team.

40%

accuracy improvement

Challenge: Automox managed a growing subscription base on SaaSOptics, which offered neither automated billing nor advanced revenue management. Subscriptions vary between annual and month-to-month and bill by devices managed, and the company wanted better renewal management, up-sell visibility and reporting on recurring revenue and total customer value. The SaaSOptics licence expired in early March, fixing the go-live date.

Solution: Already a NetSuite ERP user, Automox evaluated SuiteBilling against Sage and Intacct before selecting Bryant Park Consulting to implement SuiteBilling alongside Advanced Revenue Management and Dunning, with a direct NetSuite-to-Stripe integration for payment processing.

Results: Billing and revenue recognition are automated with ASC 606 compliance, and the company has granular contract data, forecasts based on real-time data, and reporting on overdue invoices with automated dunning letters. The controller reported a 40% improvement in accuracy. Automox subsequently signed a managed services contract with the partner.

Go-live five months after engagement, with just over three months of build after pre-planning
The automated billing and revenue management processes have significantly reduced our manual workload, improved accuracy by 40%, and provided us with valuable insights into our financial data.

Proprietary text-based business management platformOracle NetSuite ERP

Automated workflows replaced manual steps such as creating purchase orders from sales orders and closing out work orders. Leadership has more accessible data, all team members were trained on the system, and the company now builds its own saved searches and modifications post go-live. WOV-IN has since taken up the partner's managed services.

Challenge: WOV-IN ran a proprietary text-based platform maintained in-house for years, which could not produce profitability-by-product or labour usage reporting in a usable format. The company kept adding third-party subscriptions to cover the gaps, leaving staff checking quotes, shipping estimates and customer notes in separate systems.

Solution: Working with a local consultant, WOV-IN evaluated NetSuite, Acumatica and the M1 platform before selecting NetSuite, partly for its direct connections to eXtendTech's promotional-products bundles. Bryant Park Consulting ran the implementation covering record-to-report, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, manufacturing and WIP and routing, plus eXtendFiles, eXtendFrame and PromoStandards integration, keeping customizations to a minimum.

Results: Automated workflows replaced manual steps such as creating purchase orders from sales orders and closing out work orders. Leadership has more accessible data, all team members were trained on the system, and the company now builds its own saved searches and modifications post go-live. WOV-IN has since taken up the partner's managed services.

It became a limiting factor to our growth as it didn't provide the tools we needed to manage our business effectively.
