Overview
Oracle Payroll Cloud is the payroll capability within Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, a complete enterprise cloud suite that unifies human resources, talent, workforce management, and payroll on a single data model. Oracle Global Payroll is a high-performance, graphical, rules-based engine that delivers country-specific calculations, tax reporting, and regulatory rules for the countries where Oracle provides payroll localizations.
Oracle natively covers payroll in roughly 60 countries, while HCM and payroll-related operations are supported across 200+ countries and localities. For countries without a native Oracle payroll, the Oracle Global Payroll Interface (GPI) extracts earnings and deductions from Fusion HCM, sends them to a third-party payroll provider, and imports processed results back for analytics and reporting. Oracle also offers prebuilt integrations with regional and global payroll partners to pay employees in 160+ countries.
Oracle Payroll Cloud is aimed at large enterprises running Oracle Fusion HCM that want payroll, HR, and finance unified, with a scalable engine that leverages Oracle database parallel processing for high-volume payroll runs.
