Overview
MRI ProLease (marketed by MRI Software, and previously an independent company acquired by MRI Software) is an end-to-end lease administration and lease accounting platform for organizations that lease real estate and equipment. It targets corporate occupiers, government entities and mixed real-estate/equipment lease portfolios that need to comply with multiple lease accounting standards at once.
The platform separates lease administration (dates, options, critical milestones, space and CAFM data) from lease accounting (classification, discount rates, right-of-use asset and liability calculations, journal entries and disclosures), using what MRI calls a "one-to-many" lease data model so a single lease record can drive compliant output under ASC 842, IFRS 16, GASB 87 and FRS 102 simultaneously rather than requiring separate models per standard.
ProLease is offered in tiers (Direct, Central, and Enterprise/Horizon) scaled to portfolio size and complexity, and integrates with core financial systems to post lease-related journal entries and disclosures into the general ledger, either through file-based export/import, API connections, or licensed ERP connectors.
