Overview
NetLease is a lease accounting platform from Netgain that centralises lease management, amortization, and compliance reporting for organisations with lease portfolios of any size. It automates the calculations required under ASC 842, IFRS 16, GASB 87 & 96, and FRS 102, including right-of-use asset tracking, lease liability schedules, modifications, reassessments and early terminations.
NetLease is offered in two forms: a version built as a native SuiteApp embedded directly inside NetSuite, where lease records, amortization schedules and journal entries live entirely within NetSuite without any external sync, and an ERP-agnostic version for organisations on other systems, which connects via direct API integration to QuickBooks Online or exports journal entries to Excel for upload into other ERPs.
The product is used both by finance teams managing their own lease portfolios and by accounting and advisory firms consolidating leases across multiple clients. Netgain reports 150+ accounting and advisory firms and 50,000+ leases managed on the platform, with customers including Barracuda, Toast, and Avalara.
