Overview

Novisto is a sustainability management platform that helps large enterprises collect, govern and report ESG (environmental, social, governance) data. The platform is built around three stages -- Collect, Manage and Report -- that centralise ESG data intake from internal and external contributors, track performance against a curated library of ESG metrics, and generate disclosures aligned to more than a dozen regulations, standards and investor questionnaires. Novisto reports tracking an average of roughly 700 metrics per client and describes a roughly 50% average efficiency gain in disclosure submission time.

In March 2026, Novisto acquired Minimum, a London-based carbon accounting vendor, folding Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions measurement (including all 15 GHG Protocol Scope 3 categories) into the core platform alongside a separately launched on-demand double-materiality assessment module. An embedded AI layer, marketed as Novisto AI and including a conversational assistant called Mira, handles data-field auto-matching, natural-language search, anomaly detection and peer benchmarking across the platform.

Novisto is headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and was founded in 2019 by CEO and co-founder Charles Assaf. It is privately held, backed by investors including Diagram, White Star Capital, Portage, Inovia and Scor, with a strategic investment from La Caisse (formerly CDPQ) announced in May 2026. Customers cited by the company include Sun Life, Sanofi, PagerDuty, Bell, Circle K, Deutsche Bank, Emirates, Crocs and CAE.
