Alpega TMS is a cloud-based, SaaS transportation management system that combines the technology of three formerly separate products, Transwide, inet and TenderEasy, into a single platform. It manages the full transportation lifecycle for shippers and logistics service providers, from freight sourcing and procurement through transport planning, execution, real-time visibility and freight settlement. The platform supports all transportation modes (road, multimodal and intermodal) and shipment types (FTL/LTL, FCL/LCL, pallet and parcel), and connects internal ERP systems with external carrier and logistics-provider networks to replace manual phone and email coordination.
The system is modular and configurable: customers can deploy individual modules such as freight procurement, transport execution, time-slot/dock scheduling or settlement, then add or remove capabilities after go-live as their needs change. Alpega cites a stand-alone module implementation timeline of roughly four weeks. The platform integrates with existing ERP and SaaS applications, with a dedicated SAP integration offering (Alpega "SAP Fusion") built on R/3 and S/4HANA standard interfaces and delivered under the SAP PartnerEdge program. Real-time visibility is augmented through tracking partnerships with providers such as Shippeo and project44.
Alpega is operated by Alpega Group, a Brussels-headquartered logistics software company that also runs freight-exchange marketplaces (Teleroute, Wtransnet). The TMS business has been positioned in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for Transportation Management Systems across multiple years. The platform operates across 80+ countries, is available in 15 languages, and offers 24/7 multilingual support, targeting mid-market and enterprise shippers across industries including food and beverage, chemicals, automotive, retail/FMCG, pharmaceuticals and high-tech.
